Helping Title 01 Schools Succeed
Fair Oaks Elementary School is a Title 01 school which means a large percentage of their students live in low income households in need of economic support. Such conditions leave these kids at an increased risk of not meeting the academic standards of their grade level, along with other vulnerabilities.
That is why the Smyrna Business Exchange, a chapter of the Business Voices BNI Foundation, has partnered with Principal Cathie Seibert to help the kids at Fair Oaks be their best every day.
Meet Principal Seibert
Cathie Seibert is the principal of Fair Oaks Elementary School in Marietta, Georgia. With a background in education and military service, she brings a wealth of experience to her leadership role.
Before becoming an educator, she served in the U.S. Army, where she learned to drive tanks and rappel down mountains. Since 2021, she has led Fair Oaks Elementary, focusing on student success and fostering a strong school community. Seibert is passionate about education, particularly supporting students with special needs.
What We do & How You Can Help
The Smyrna Business Exchange on behalf of Fair Oaks host an annual casino night fundraising event. It is an exciting night to enjoy food, beverages, and friends. In addition to the table games, there are raffle and silent auction prizes that can be won through out the night leading to the grand prize.
Funds raised from the tickets, sponsorships, games, prizes, and donations fund a wide range Fair Oaks’ programs including academic opportunities, field trips, and family meals. This support helps these kids the experience of simply being kids.

Smyrna Business Exchange is Smyrna’s premier close contact networking group representing over 60 local businesses (and growing!) Meeting weekly for almost two decades, members of the Smyrna Business Exchange pass business referrals to one another over a light continental breakfast. The Smyrna Business Exchange meets at Smyrna First Baptist Church every Thursday morning from 6:45 – 8:30 a.m.
